Hi — I’m Carlos Julian, the founder of Laurel27.

I started Laurel27 in 2026 after spending too many weekends maintaining my own pool and lawn by hand — and realizing that consumer robotics had finally gotten good enough to actually do the work, but most of the websites selling these robots looked like rebranded dropshipping sites with no real support behind them. I figured I could build something better.

Today we’re a small team of two to three (me plus a couple of part-time helpers). We ship out of our fulfillment center at 6690 Jet Park Road, North Charleston, South Carolina. The LLC is registered at 262 Chapman Rd, Ste 240, Newark, Delaware. Day-to-day operations and customer support run out of Schaumburg, Illinois.

What we sell, and how we source it

We focus on one thing: robotic technology that does the chores nobody enjoys doing — cleaning the pool, mowing the lawn, vacuuming the house. Every product we list comes from a brand or US distributor we have a formal relationship with:

  • Beatbot, WYBOT, and Sublue — Authorized retail partner via Shopify Collective, Shopify’s curated retail-partner program. These products ship directly from the brand’s US distribution.
  • Poolmate and TerraMow — Certified reseller through authorized US distributors; we hold these in stock at our North Charleston warehouse.

What we believe in

  • Honesty over hype. If a product isn’t reliable, we don’t list it — no matter what the margin looks like.
  • Real-person support. When you email us, a human writes back. Mon–Fri, 9 AM – 5 PM Central; replies within 24–48 hours.
  • Free standard US shipping on items we stock. No minimum, no checkout surprise. (Items shipped directly from the manufacturer through Shopify Collective show carrier-calculated rates at checkout — we’d rather be upfront about that than bake the cost into the price.)
